Can I still get a new roof during the winter months?

Yes! Though the weather outside may be frightful, you can still get work done on your roof. Just keep in mind that production moves slower in the winter months due to the weather. As long as there is no ice or snow on the roof, we can most likely work around the weather. We can also work in light rain. We will never tear off your roof during any rain, but we can still shingle and install in light rain.

What are the most popular roof material options?

The most popular options for roofs include asphalt shingles, TPO or PVC membrane, and metal panels. We can also offer DaVinci Roofscapes slate or shake, which is a luxury product line.

Why is ventilation important?

Your roof needs to breathe. Hot air rises, so ventilation allows the hot air that builds up in your attic to escape while cooler outside air enters. An attic with no ventilation can dramatically increase heating and cooling costs.

Why does my roof's pitch matter?

Since one of the roof's main functions is to run water off the home, the slope at which it does this often determines the type of roofing chosen. Steep roofs (high pitches) shed water more easily, have a lower risk of standing water, and can use many different materials such as tiles or composition shingles. Low-pitch roofs, such as flat roofs with little to no slope, require materials that retain less water to prevent damage, often waterproof systems like TPO or PVC. Metal panels are also a popular covering for these types of roofs.

Do you install tile roofs?

No, we don't install tile roofs, but we can take on small tile roof repairs.
